Samuel Waltemeyer '09

Samuel Waltemeyer ’09 was chosen as Phi Mu Delta Fraternity’s fourth executive director effective Aug. 1, 2023.

After graduating from FSU with a bachelor’s in psychology, he attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he earned a master’s in student counseling and personnel services. Waltemeyer is also an alumnus of the Graduate Program in Student Affairs in Higher Education at IUP.

Over the years, Waltemeyer has been employed at Dartmouth College, Rutgers University-Camden and Carnegie Mellon where he worked with fraternities and sororities at each institution. As an alumnus of Phi Mu Delta, he was a member of various committees as a district governor and national president. Most recently, Waltemeyer served on the Phi Mu Delta Foundation Board.

Currently, Waltemeyer helps university students develop interpersonal and leadership skills to complement the knowledge they learn in labs and lectures.
